CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENTS

1. In the scenario where the student salon is experiencing student absences or scheduling issues, we may cancel an appointment. We will endeavor to provide as much notice as possible in this event. Several therapists are rostered on in order to prevent this occurring, however some circumstances may be out of our control.

2. Clients with a cancelled appointment will be notified through sms and phone call.

3. The student salon requires 24 hour notice if a client wished to cancel or rebook their appointment. No refunds will be given for cancelled appointments under the 24 hour time frame. The total amount for the appointment will be charged. 

4. If a client cancels an appointment or fails to show for an appointment 3 times in a row, they will charged the full amount for the third cancelled appointment and they will be removed from the client database.

CHILDREN AND UNDERAGE

1. Children must be supervised if attending the student salon. 

2. If a child cannot be supervised while a client is attending a treatment, treatment may be refused.

2. Anyone under 16 years of age is not permitted to make an appointment with the student salon. If a guardian makes an appointment for a client under 16 years of age, they must be present during the treatment.

FEES AND CHARGES

1. When making an appointment online or on site, pre payment is required at the time of booking and you agree to the listed prices on the website.

2. If a number of services booked at one time, all services must also be paid for at the time of booking.

3. If services are added on during a booked treatment, these must be paid for on site at reception before leaving the salon premises.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

1. When booking a treatment in the CCBT Student salon you acknowledge that students will be offering treatments in a training environment not fully qualified therapists.

2. Appointments made are subject to the availability of students and treatments they can perform.

3. Services may vary between students. Students will always strive to achieve the outcome a client desires. We will not be liable if a client is dissatisfied with a treatment.

CONTRAINDICATONS

1. You must answer truthfully when providing medical history and contra indications during the client consultation to ensure the students can complete the treatment safely.

2. Therapists and management have the right to refuse a treatment if a contra indication is found to be present.

LIABILITY

1. A client acknowledges that whilst a duty of care is taken when students are performing treatments. The college is not liable for any adverse reactions or side affects that may occur due to a client omitting information in their consultation form.

2. A client agrees that a student therapist cannot diagnose a clients condition. If a client has concerns about a medical condition, they should consult with their practitioner.

PRIVACY

1. The student salon will ensure the privacy of all clients and comply with the legalities of the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988) when recording and storing client details in relation to services rendered.

COMPLAINTS

1. In the event that a client wishes to make a complaint, they are to notify the CCBT Student Salon management either via phone or writing through the form on this website.

2. The college will take all feedback on board both negative and positive and use this feedback for continuous improvement. Client complaints will be addressed with the client personally and feedback given to the therapist so they can improve.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

When making an appointment, these terms and conditions will apply to the person making the appointment and Casey College of Beauty Therapy Pty Ltd. These terms and conditions will be accepted by a client once a booking has been made.
